Join us for a hands-on introduction to the fascinating world of honeybees! We are partnered with The Long Beach Beekeepers for this special class. This class is designed for beginners and curious minds who want to learn about the art and science of beekeeping. You will be guided by an experienced beekeeper in a small group setting, and will be provided protective gear for hands-on portions.

An overview of honeybee biology and behavior
Essential tools in beekeeping
What a healthy hive looks like
Tips for supporting pollinators in our environment
Say hello to our Queen Bee!
Please also attend our Part 2 Class: “From Hive to Table” for our culinary class, with honey tasting and a hands-on cooking class. This will be held the day after, Sunday, November 2nd. See you there!
